What is Kit4Cat made of?

It’s made out of a high-quality natural quartz sand with a unique nontoxic hydrophobic coating.

Is the 2lb of sand enough to get a sample from my Cat?

The amount supplied is optimized for price and for the vast majority of cats to be able to comfortably use it, but as we know cats are fussy so there is never a 100% when it comes to a cats judgement.

Can Cat owners collect a sample at home?

Yes, Kit4Cat is used by Veterinarians all around the world, but we made Kit4Cat so that all Cat parents can use it to easily take samples from their cat any time and test themselves at home with testing strips or take the sample to the Vet.

What if my Cat covers the urine with the sand?

Sometimes, cats like to dig around their litter before or after urinating. Even if the urine is completely covered by the sand, the sample can still be extracted just by moving the sand aside it will “pop” out and will still be clean.

Can Kit4Cat sand be reused?

Kit4Cat is a single-use diagnostic kit and can be easily disposed of after a single urine sample has been collected.
