What should i do if the shock function doesn’t work?
Make sure the shock function has not been locked, press the knob button to unlock itPut the test light on the prongs, make sure the wire is connected with the 2 prongs, then press the shock button if the test light lights up, it means the shock works.Make sure the collar is worn correctly, the prong has good contact with the dog’s skin, and won’t cause irritation to the dog’s skin
Here’s the problem: if a level 5 can’t get the dog’s attention, you have to go up to a level 6. On an e-collar with a lot of different intensity levels, this is a very small change. However, on an 8/16 level e-collar, dialing from a 5 to a 6 is a big jump — and it can be very stressful for your dog.
