Q: The screw holes don’t line up during assembly. Is my cat tree defective?

A: In most cases, the cat tree is not defective. This usually happens when the large condo and small condo are installed in the wrong positions.

For proper alignment:

The large condo should be installed on the second level (left side)The small condo should be installed on the first level (right side)Make sure the small condo sits flush with the base board, aligned to the back and right edges

Once the condos are placed correctly, the screw holes will line up easily.
